The Yellowstone Bluffs Bed and Breakfast is owned and operated by Dick and Pat Wiseman. As we begin our fourth year of operations, we are excited to welcome guests to our home. Remodeled with our own comfort and enjoyment in mind, we look forward to sharing our vision of Hospitality – Style – Comfort with our guests.
Located in the picturesque western town of Miles City, Montana, this intimate B&B offers quiet comfort with great access to the city and many surrounding recreation areas. The B&B sits on sandstone bluffs overlooking the Yellowstone River and the expanse of the city beyond. With just three rooms available for lodging, your privacy and comfort are the focal point for the owners. Each room has a private bath, flat screen TV and king or queen size bed. Wireless internet is available for those who need to stay connected. All rooms have comfortable sitting nooks with views of the river and city.
Miles City is located on the Eastern Montana plains in the Yellowstone River Valley and is on the Lewis and Clark Scenic Trail and near the Native American Spirit Trail. Located mid-way between Yellowstone Park and Mount Rushmore National Monument, each can be reached from Miles City in a easy half-day drive. Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming are even closer. Regional attractions closer yet in Montana include Fort Peck Dam and reservoir on the Missouri River, Makoshika State Park, Pompey’s Pillar National Monument, Custer Battlefield, and Yellowtail Dam and Reservoir among others.
Locally, Miles City’s Range Riders Museum may be the finest Western Museum in the country. The WaterWorks Art Museum is a must see attraction.
The World Famous Bucking Horse Sale in May is a great example of the old west that still exists as a way of life in Miles City. Countless events throughout the year insure that a visit at any time of year will be filled with discovery.
For those seeking more participatory activities, hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, swimming, biking, hiking and bar hopping are available.
